This scary sharp skinning knife has already made quick work of a NW Louisiana hog. Next up an African Elephant.lolAfter having some real frustrations dressing deer with a cheapo knife I took a chance on this based on the other reviews. It works real well, and the curved blade is a lot better suited for this work than a straight one. Not only good for dressing but did good work on the deer meat in the kitchen. The only reason I don't give it five stars is it didn't come with any real sheath, just a this flimsy flat vinyl/plastic thing that can easily slide off the knife. This is not something you want in your gear kit with an unprotected blade.i recived my knife on time and in good shape,it is of great quality and very sharp ,its size is perfect for skinning deer or hogs and with the shape it should do a great job.so far ive only used in the kitchen and it works great and still as sharp as ever. you should buy or make a good sheath for it to be safe.Very sharp knife. I bought the knife for my first attempt at butchering hogs. No complaints here,the knife is worked great.This is excellent for processing and sectioning chickens. I can do chicken cut ups into 8 pieces plus the back section in about 3 minutes with this knife. It holds and edge well and it is well balanced.
