After working in a pizza parlor and using one of these daily I just couldn't handle using the little wheel cutter at home anymore, so I got one for myself. It is without a doubt the fastest, most accurate, and easiest way to cut a pizza. It's also a great surprise to get out when there is company in the kitchen (thus far I have only brought it out in invited company and have only used it on food, but I suppose it would be a great surprise to get out if you found yourself in the presence of hostile kitchen guests as well...)I've discovered that it makes a great quesadilla cutter as well!
Don't make the same mistake as me in using it on those thin cutting mats, it can cut right through them if you aren't careful...
I'm from Chicago, and pizza is a big part of my life. I can't seem to find any great pizza down here in Austin, TX. So I make a lot of homemade deep dish, and an occasional thin crust.
I researched a bunch of different pizza knives & cutters,read the reviews, and decided on this one. I wanted one that was very well made, and will last forever. I truly believe I made the best decision, and I don't see myself ever needing to buy another pizza cutter in my lifetime. Guests are always impressed when they see this thing in action!
I do recommend that you purchase a knife sharpener if you don't already have one. That's the first thing I did when I bought it, and I keep it sharp all the time.

I have no shortage of volunteers to cut the pizza when it emerges from the oven. Heavy duty. Well made. Long enough to cut a large pizza without repositioning.
