I purchased the Snap-On sharpener in July of 2011 but had never used it until August 23, 2012. I have all the usual stuff to sharpen my knives at home; Arkansas whet stones, Chicago steel with wood handle, Ceramic rods, and even other sharpeners similar to this. But I really wanted something that would be light, dependable, and easy to use for my bug-out bag. I took a chance and bought this. I was setting on the couch and watching the ball game and just decided to take several of my hunting knives out and touch them up a little. I pull each knife across the sharpener a couple of times, lightly, and they came out razor sharp. I hear this term used a lot and I usually have my doubts but in this case it was true. I could not be pleased more. This is one item that I actually would recommend for others to purchase: reasonably inexpensive, appears to be fairly sturdy, easy to use, and actually works. I am buying another to keep in my vehicle.Want Snap-On 5120 Carbide Knife Sharpener Discount?
