The quality exceeded my expectations... especially when all you see is this 3D generated image of this honing steel. The actual steel's handle is made of a real nice dark wood with a layer of gloss/lacquer. The hanging ring and hand guard are chrome coated and real shiny. Of all my knives, it has the sleekest handle design, making it stand out and easy to locate.Of course, it'll be a bit heavier than plastic handled ones, but it's definitely a functional and beautiful piece worth adding to your collection.
