I use this strictly as a slicer. For that it is superb. Brisket, roasts, turkey's, etc. I have zero complaints and with the thin blade it is easy to use and prevents fatigue

So far I found this slicer to be a good addition to my kit. I use it regularly and it has a pretty good edge retention and it comes fairly sharp out of the box. However, I did end up resharpening it because I didn't find the edge as sharp as I need for my regular kitchen prep duties. This knife is a perfect length for me, but I think that others may find this blade length a bit short. It really depends on what you are using it for though.

Overall, I would say that this is a good knife for the price.
