It has an excellent blend of features including excellent ergonomics to allow cutting all day long at a high rate of speed, excellent sharpenability, excellent edge retention, and good ballance. Forged, not stamped blade. NSF certified for those of us that it matters to.

Yes, there are many better knife lines, but at a very high premium in price. This is the best value in the market for those who want a professional quality knife at a very reasonable price. HIGHLY recommended for those looking for quality on a budget.

I love this knife. It has a VERY comfortable grip. Also it has kept its edge, doesnt rust. Fairly sure it is made in the U.S.A. like all the Dexter Russell knives. There definitely is nothing stamped on it saying it was made elsewhere. I honestly think this is the best quality paring knife you can get for the money. I would definitely buy another one.

The rubberized handle gives a secure grip even when wet. The blade is razor sharp and holds an edge very well.

This is the paring knife to own! You can spend much more money and not get a knife this good.

What I received clearly was a returned item, along with another "returned" Dexter knife I ordered at the same time. Dexter-Russell website says product made in USA, product stamped made in China. Not too happy
