I got this for my brother who is a chef and he said he honestly loves it. As long as he is telling me the truth...right? I examined the set and all the knives were forged from a single piece of steel, and they are very sharp. I'm thinking of getting this again for my self.

This is a very good set of knives packaged in an attractive case , making it a wonderful gift idea. The knives are good-looking, easy to hold, and sharp. I appreciate the knife sharpener piece that comes with the set. I used it on a few older knives of mine and it made them like new again. I do suggest that the knives be washed by hand and that they be dried right away. I am perfectly satisfied with the set. It's not easy to find a set that is relatively inexpensive that actually has sharp knives. A good addition to any kitchen.
