Anyway, the chef's knife is great. It arrived super-sharp. The handle is very sturdy and comfortable. The blade is thick enough to be rugged but thin enough to work well on potatoes and onions. The hollows in the sides don't really do anything as far as I can tell, but they don't seem to hurt.
I have a Forschner which is similar, but I like this knife better.
The price was phenomenal. Where can you get a knife like this for under $12? Unbelievable.
