Mundial Hollow Edge Cook's Knife, Black

This is an excellent knife for meat-cutting and chopping. It sharpens nicely and stays quite sharp. I recomend this knife for general kitchen use.

This knife is fantastic. I bought the santoku, but I didn't like the shape. For me, a santoku just can't compare to a traditional chef's knife. The blade is too flat for easy chopping.

Anyway, the chef's knife is great. It arrived super-sharp. The handle is very sturdy and comfortable. The blade is thick enough to be rugged but thin enough to work well on potatoes and onions. The hollows in the sides don't really do anything as far as I can tell, but they don't seem to hurt.

I have a Forschner which is similar, but I like this knife better.

The price was phenomenal. Where can you get a knife like this for under $12? Unbelievable.
