Kyocera Revolution Series 7-Inch Serrated Slicing Bread Knife with White Ceramic Blade

Kyocera Revolution Series 7-Inch Serrated Slicing Bread Knife, Black Handle with White BladeI love kitchen knives, that is. And this is one of the very best I've ever used. No, it likely won't cut through your chicken/steak bones (although, I've never tried it on those), but it will cut the most wonderful, thin, perfect slices you could ever want! I have had a love affair with ceramic santoku knives since I first learned about them the little red paring knives sold by Amazon are amazing too but this one, whether I'm cutting crusty bread or tomatoes, is FABULOUS. That little bit of serration will keep it working without sharpening needs much longer too. Highly recommned this knife!

I am only sorry I had to get so old before I had a knife to use like this one. I bake a lot of bread, and the Artesian bread needs a really good knife to cut the crispy crust. This knife is a lot better quality than some I have tried.

I love Kyocera knives. I have owned three of them for about eleven years and they are just now needing to be sharpened. When I bought my original knives the serrated edges weren't available.

When I saw the 7-inch serrated bread slicing knife on Amazon I bought it immediately and I am really glad that I did. I will be using it not only to slice bread, but also tomatoes.

So far, I have only used it too slice bread and it works as I expected it would.

These knives keep their sharpness for a very long time. They do what they are supposed to do and are a joy to work with. I can hardly wait for this years crop of tomatoes to give this knife a good workout.

It's so easy to slice cheese, onions, and tomatoes as thin as I want with this one knife, I'm neglecting my other brand-name set. I think I still prefer the big, cheap, serrated stainless knife for fresh-baked breads. I'm sure the ceramic knife works fine on store bread, but who wants to wait for home baked bread to cool? I've only had this knife for about four months, so I don't know how long I can expect wonderful slicing, but I've already discovered that ceramic blades are not as fragile as I imagined. I'm sure they can break, but I've dropped them on hard surfaces more than once without incident.

I love these Kyocera knives. This one will slice bread amazingly well as well as tomatoes and other skinned but soft fruit. It just lasers through these difficult type foods. They stay sharp for years. Literally.
