Spode Porto 45-Piece Flatware Set

I was not blown away with the design, however, man guest for dinner one night recognized that the flatware matched the tableware (Spode Blue Italian). It must have made a bigger impression than I originally thought. I will use only when using the same dish pattern.

The pattern is so elegant, and kind of tropical. Reminds me of say, British Colonial in Africa or something. Very nice weight in hand. The knives and forks are long, but then these are the kind of utensils you eat of the tip of.

The set was complete, well packaged. One large fork was bent but easily straightened the tong; I did write Spode asking for a replacement but got no reply. Still they are packaged well.

They are shiny but not blinding and the back is kind of etched as well. A very elegant, slightly tropical look for a GREAT price!

So far, washed up easily with no spotting.
