Messermeister Meridian Elite 7-Inch Santoku

I have this style from Wusthoff, with a Granton edge. But I wanted a more comfortable handle because I use such a knife for slicing and trimming rock-hard Kabocha Squash. I do not hack into the squash with this knife. For that I use an enormous chef's knife and a maul. After removing the seeds I slice the squash in sections and next use this fine knife to remove the skin & cut into chunks. I would like a fatter handle, but the handle provided is comfortable. I already had a 6" Messermeister Meridian Elite Santoku with the Granton edge, I cannot say enough about it. It holds an edge as well as any quality knife or better.
