Kapoosh Knife and Utensil Holder Kitchen Caddy

Kapoosh works great for the first few months, or if you hardly ever use it. But my wife and I are avid cooks and discovered that, after about 3 months of use, the product fails miserably. The problem? All those little spaghetti-like strands that hold the knives become crossed with one another and when you stick a knife down into it, those strands get cut. So when you go to pull the knife out a bunch of half strands come with it.

Its a great idea, especially for people who seldom cook. But for avid home chefs, count on strands wearing out in just a few months.

knife and utensil holder work well if used with care. Must insert knives slowly as noted in other reviews. It works well if you don't "Slam Bam Thank You Mam" the knives into the holder.

Originally purchased just the Kapoosh Knife block and liked the usefulness of it. When I needed to replace it I found this and loved the added utensil holders.

Received it and loved the fact that the company reduced the number of "spines" in the block, making the replacement of the knives into the block so much easier. My only complaint is that the utensil holders (which have my can openers and shears) are held to the knife block with magnets. Wish they were attached.

I really like this thing but it is already falling apart at the edge: the front left corner came apart and we had to duct tape it back together.
