This is nearly a foot long, has a comfortable handle, and is designed so that one can not only mash by pushing down, but also by pushing to the side of the pot. Sturdy, comfortable, sleek, and well worth the money. After getting this one, I also gave one as a Christmas gift.

I did not know this two man figured German Henckels is made in China.
