I was giving this knife back years ago when I worked in a slaughter house. I have used this knife every year since This knife takes an edge very easily and holds one. I just bought a back up knife back a month or so ago and it still has the same quality my old knife has. I cleaned four wild pigs yesterday without even shaping it. A sharp quality knife such as this one is an essential tool for the everyday outdoorsman.
