I was looking for a small marble cheese "plate" and I found it!! It's a little smaller than a dinner plate and for me and a few people it it perfect. Very thick durable marble and the lid is fantastic. It fits on my top shelf in the fridge perfectly. I cut up 6-8 chunks of 4 or 5 cheeses and pepperoni and it all fits. I more than recommend this!!!!

Both the glass cover and marble base are heavy and sturdy. The marble base is more sanitary than the more common wooden bases. There is simply no way to improve this cheese dome.
