I never paid more than a few dollars for a cutting board, or I received them as gifts. This one was over $20, but it may as well have cost $50 or more. It has been used every single day, usually twice a day or more, since it arrived a few weeks ago. I treated it with mineral oil as recommended by another reviewer, and it brought out the beautiful grain and made the surface extra smooth. It doesn't move at all while cutting on it, due to the corner grippers, and I really like the large size. Being a vegetarian, I cut lots & lots of varying sizes and textures of vegis, and this board allows for a very exact and easy slicing action for every single type.
