The pattern is the same and these knives are great, but... they are different than what we have owned for 28 years. After counting only five from the originals, we needed to fill out the set. This newer version is longer, has a thinner handle, and has a much more serrated edge than the originals. We had purchased forks from another seller and found those also were longer. Obviously a later cast. Considering the age of our set, we are not complaining; it's just good to have a larger, more-matching set.
This is not the same as the original. It is a cheaper manufacturer and materials. The serrations are bigger and sharper, so the knife is less elegant.
