Buy Plum Pitter by Westmark Now
It takes a little strength to pop the pits out but it does as expected. It is a good idea to cover the plum with your hand while using it as plums do tend to squirt occasionally.I have been looking for a proper plum pitter for years. I wanted to make a plum cake and cutting them and removing the pit made the plums soft and mussy. Now with the plum pitter the plums stay firm.I bought this item for my mother to replace an old broken one. It's exactly what she was looking for!Plum Pitter by Westmark

There is very little info about this plum pitter on Amazon, or elsewhere. Here is a 4 minute video showing how the pitter works on a Santa Rosa plum and also an Italian prune. This product got the job done for me. It was very messy, but I guess it is to be expected from a handheld pitter.
