They sent me a completely different scaler, and not a good one. Literally a waste of money. I threw the thing in the trash the first use because it is absolutely worthless.
This is a simple but effective fish scaler. It is made of heavy aluminum body on a wooden handle. The edges are sharp and quickly scales salmon without problem. It does not have a built-in receptacle and so the scales tend to fly all over the kitchen counter. It was my prefered scaler until I bought Stainless Steel Fish Scaler 9-1/2". It is inexpensive and thus a great buy.
