Farberware Resin 5-Inch and 7-Inch Santoku Knife with 2 Bladed Covers, 4-Piece

I gave these to my son to complement his old Samurai Chef's set he bought at the Yokuska Exchange during Vietnam. He likes the feel of the molded knives' grips, the heft and especially likes the concavities along the blades to release the sliced material from surface tension suction of the blade slicing the material.

He said the resin was all right, but he would have preferred a black or grey resin. The bright turquoise and muted orange and chartreuse of the paring knife are not to his taste.

I LOVE knives that ACTUALLY CUT STUFF and these do -also easy to keep sharp.....I recommend them without hesitation.

Gave these to an adopted daughter for Christmas. She said the cut really nice. She loves that they have blade covers. have not had to sharpen them as of yet.
