I just purchased this product and it got here very quickly. It's pretty in the box/case that it came in. There are little black spots on the metal of both pieces (I believe it is from the paint on the box), but you can't see them unless you are inspecting it (like I was). It has a nice weight to it and feels like crystal instead of plastic. I recommend this to anyone who likes it simple and elegant but doesn't want to spend a lot of money. It's gorgeous.

This set is a great value. I wasn't sure if it was going to be plastic or not when I ordered it, but it was metal. It looks like an expensive set.
