I've been using this Santoku for almost everything since I bought it. Very sharp, lightweight and a good size for the kind of cooking I usually do. The blade guard is simple, effective and not bulky like some. Great value.

Got this for a good friend, she uses a Santuko style for everything and the one she had wasn't very good. This model is the perfect size for her and the handle makes it comfortable to use the entire meal. Blade seems to be staying nice and sharp like the day she opened it.
