LamsonSharp 3" to 4" x 5" Stiff Flared Turner

Originally had a turner with a wooden handle that broke off, so I decided to get this LamsonSharp as a replacement. I didn't want to make the same mistake again, so I was looking for something sturdy that was basically one piece, and all steel. I mainly use the turner for lifting trays out of my toaster oven, and this thing does the job well. It is well made and strong enough to handle pretty much anything involving food or cooking. The edge is pretty sharp and could be used to break food into pieces or to scrape food stuck on a tray or grill. Highly recommend this product. Been using it for a year now, and it will probably last a lifetime.

I was looking for a good turner that could be used indoors and outdoors that was heavy and well made ...like what was used in my restaraunt days of my youth ..and this is the one...perfect size..heavy made and well put together...I use it every time I fry or grill and have had it for about a year and it still looks like new..is holding up great..

I really like this turner. I like it so much that the price plus shipping didn't bother me. I use it all of the time; it is a good fit for my hand, the "blade" is wide enough and long enough to turn just about anything without breaking them. I highly recommend this turner.

After much contemplation I purchased the LamsonSharp flared turner.

I had my eye on a Dexter Russell 5" x 3" offset turner with a wood handle and the similarly flared 5" x 4" Dexter Russell Hamburger Turner, as I prefer to buy USA made products.

Although I was not able to examine the products in person before purchase, I liked the shape of the LamsonSharp turner. But that is not to say that Dexter Russell products are inferior, as I have several Dexter Russell products in my kitchen.

Putting this turner to use, it is stiff not flexible. It works beautifully for cooking eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, etc...

This turner is also at home on the grill too and works nicely to cut up food as well while cooking.

I like the shape and beveled edge which also makes it a wonderful tool to take cookies off the cookie sheet without breaking them.

One thing that is nice is the turner has a mainly vertical offset, not more horizontal, which makes it shorter. It is easy to manage and comfortable to use.

This tool is a must have in my kitchen as it has become my favorite and is well made to last a long time.
