I was in need of new steak knives and decided to try and match a new set with my Oneida flatware. I own the Satin Dover but unfortunately the steak knives are only available in the Dover (shiny finish). I ordered the knives anyway and am very happy I did. I actually like the contrast of the satin finish vs the shiny finish. I know when the table is set that the steak knives are in use as opposed to the dinner knives. It's so nice having all my flatware patterns match. I'm fussy that way. I'm pleased with this purchase.
The knives are nice, but not the same shape as the steak knives that I purchased from Oneida many years ago. The blade end is wider and not as graceful looking.
