This is one versatile piece of cutlery. I appreciate the sturdiness of it, which makes it nice for handling a lasagna or other 'heavy' casserole. I originally bought it to slice and serve desserts, and it works perfectly for that purpose. I didn't expect to use it as often as I do, though. Being able to slice a dish, then flip it over and serve with it, is very convenient, and the cutting edge is sharp enough to make clean slice without having to saw through you food. This makes for cleaner, prettier portions. Great idea!
