While I ordered these for their aesthetic and practically to avoid wood handles for instance NONE of these cheese knives have any sharp edge!

To cut hard cheese a sharp knife is needed. And the crust of soft sided cheeses is far easier to cut with a sharp edge as well.

I have not decided if these are worth trying to sharpen, if that is even possible, or just return and keep searching.

I am very pleased with this cheese tool set. Its design is simple so I will be able to use it for many occasions. It was offered for a very good price so I didn't expect anything heavy so its light weight did not surprise me. I'm very glad that I added this small tool set to my collection of items for entertaining.
