We've used all three at this point and they work just as you would expect from the high-end of Henckels line. Five stars and enthusiastic recommendations. Treat yourself to a surprisingly good deal.Ok, first things first; this set looks great. I was really impressed, until I opened the package and used these. I already own a Wusthof cheese knife, but I wanted a set. My one Wusthof knife cost me $80, so I was excited to see a set of Zwilling J.A. Henckels for only $50. So, I took my new knives out and grabbed some cheese and started cutting. These knives don't cut nearly as well as my pricey Wusthof knife. I soon had squished cheese and crazy slices. I took my knife sharpener out and started sharpening these new knives. After a minute of sharpening, I cut some more cheese. Presto! Big difference. They still don't cut as well as my Wusthof, but they do a decent job, once sharpened. $50 is a lot less than some of the other knife sets cost, but it is still pricey enough that Zwilling J.A. Henckels should take the time to send a sharp set. Funny thing is; my knife sharpener is a Zwilling J.A. Henckels product. Maybe they are trying to sell their sharpeners.

I looked at several cheese knife sets at different price points before stumbling across this one. This set is pretty similar to what is pictured, you get the 3 stainless steel knives with stainless steel handles, however the handle is not really a different color than the blade (the knife is pretty much one color, not two tone). The knives look great and there is a nice weight to them, they're not super heavy but they're not flimsy and light either. The set comes quite sharp (with instructions on how to sharpen, when needed) and really does make a difference when cutting particular types of cheese. The box the knives come in says "made in China" which someone was asking about in a previous post. If you're looking for a cheese knife set for everyday use or entertaining I would highly recommend these!Ordered it a week ago and just got it.Definitely not German quality. The packaging is very cheap, and the knifes are not of the same quality with the "Twins" brand made in Germany.

I have owned this set for several years. The handles are large, but ergonomically designed. The heavy weight of the knives helps with cutting. There are three different knives for three different styles of cheeses.I use this set often, even for the smallest intimate gatherings. My only complaint, like other reviewers, is the overall size may get in your way if you do not have the space when you are entertaining. I purchased this set at Macys on sale and paid around $50. While I would always invest in any good knife, I am not sure I would pay $70-$100 for this set when there are other similar options. The aesthetics are fairly simple. They should not clash or compete with any tableware you currently own. But they are not as modern looking as many other knife sets on the market. The handle finish is not matte. Mine still look like new after about three years. Easy cleaning.
