My wife and I love this product. We love pineapple, particularly fresh fruit, but whacking away at one with a knife was not a task that either of us enjoyed. You still use a knife, but that is only to whack off the top--one slice. The corer does the rest...just hold the pineapple with one hand and turn the handle with the other. Pull and empty the fruit in a bowl. Press the button to release the handle and push the core out of the center and you're done. Cleans up well.

It is a nice tool for coring out the pineapple. the pineapple slices are cut out in rings. Only thing that I don't like is that if the pineapple is too big then a portion of it is wasted.

I really like the pineapple corer. It was easy to use . The only thing I didn't like is the top of the handle was kind of hard to remove when I going to clean it, I have weakness in my wrist.
