Purchased as a gift for my wife. It was the only one I could find that would accomodate larger pistol grip knives. Amazon shipped quickly and when the package was opened it looked beautiful until the lid was opened and it slid back away from the base. Inspection revealed that the hinges had broken away from the lid which appeared to be made of a cheap cardboard like fiberboard that certainly would not have held up over time.Amazon is great regarding the return, and although I had initially ordered a replacement, I thought better of it,Williamsburg by Reed & Barton Tarpley Flatware Storge Chest Holds Service for 18 and cancelled the replacement order. This doesn't appear to be an item that will last.
