The flask is holding up very well and is solid, it retains my lighter fluid still with only minor evaporation, I had to deduct one star though.

In the picture you'll see a hoop where the lobster clasp is attached, this actually broke off, leaving a metal pin of sorts sticking up, so I'd need to note that the flask itself is virtually bomb proof, but the hoop that connects to the lobster clasp can with time fall off like mine did, just a heads up.

Originally I had a metal O ring through the small metal loop that you see in the picture, the metal loop in the picture does fall off, overall I still like the flask and now keep it in an E.D.C. bag.

Its bigger than what you'd think, almost the size of a human hand, I was surprised actually.

When filled you can't even tell its in your pocket though and fits fine, from my shorts to my pants, and I've got a fairly loaded keychain, with fingernail clippers, laser, and ear cleaner, even with this attached and all my keys it's still light and compact enough to sleep with in my pocket, it came with a small paper saying it has a lifetime guarantee which is pretty comforting, despite this I used bolt cutters and took off the lobster coast that attaches to your key loop/chain or whatever you use, and I attached a metal o ring and then ran 550 pairacord through that and knotted it on my key chain, it's not going anywhere unless I want it to now.

With a lifetime garuntee and light use I doubt you'd need to go to such extremes as I did, but as a Marine I don't like flipping quarters on securing my gear, deployed or home ether way I make sure things don't leave my body unless I'm toast.

I filled my flask with lighter fluid for my Zippo, which can also remove adhesive gunk, and fight stains, as well as be used in emergency fire starting, I've slept it's the thing a few days now and me being a 6 foot tall 200 lb man it's not so much as scratched and has yet to leak, it felt so light I opened it up and checked it a few times as I thought it had evaporated or leaked without me being aware of it, it's that light, at least that's my opinion though.

You could use it for alcohol, I use it for Zippo fluid, as long as it's not crosive to the stainless steel you can use it and I think this thing will be reliable.

If 1oz is not enough, don't be fraud to step up to the 2oz flask, if survival is your game, or if you just want to get randomly trashed on alcohol, I think this flask will serve you well.

They washed easily enough for me and they are low profile as they can fit in your palm easily. The only thing I would want to change is the key ring being attached to the 'lid' as I am worried the constant pull will loosen the lid's ability for a good seal, but I have not had any problems yet!. I highly suggest these!
