The thing is, these shears can cut through chicken breast bone, or cut the thinnest paper, the grips are great and from a health standpoint, being able to break them down into two pieces to go into the dishwasher, they are great. I've ordered two extra pairs and now I'm giving them to friends as presents. I also cut thick bacon in halves with these shears so I can fit more into my pan and control my portion size.
