Although relatively unknown in the US, Arcos is a very old knife making company from Spain. According to the website it is a more than 260 year old company. So what you get, is a very sharp knife with great balance and at a very competitive price. To check its balance, you can hold the knife at mid point, at the end of handle and before the blade with one of your fingers, and you will see that it keeps itself balanced. I must say it is a very conservative design with bolster and typical ergonomic lines from Europe. The good news is prices are yet conservative too. Your money's worth!
Better than I expected. Good weight and sharp. I would recommend this for anyone needing a good knife without spending a fortune.
