I was worried when I ordered it that it was going to be very heavy but

it is not and that makes it very nice. It is not top heavy either.

It is very well balanced and seems to be well crafted. A perfect

choice for a Celtic/Irish wedding.

I purchased this topper for my own wedding, which was on St. Patrick's day and themed as such. it is a beautiful topper for a standard sized cake,especially for those who are not excited about the groom and bride topper. It is affordable. It is light enough for you to not need to worry about it crushing the cake, and heavy enough to not feel cheap or plastic. It feels like it could last as a keepsake, although it can be broken if you drop it. So it is durable enough to last, but still fragile.
