Victorinox Swiss Army 3-1/4-Inch Paring Knife, Wavy, Rosewood Handle

This is a nice sharp paring knife for a very reasonable cost,with a nice-looking Rosewood handle. It cuts fruits and vegetable easily. It is not serrated.

My wife and I treat this knife with respect. We have found that it cuts flesh quickly and easily.

I have owned this for nearly 10 years now and it has served me well. This is a stamped knife made by one of the world's oldest and most respected cutlery maker Victorinox, who also makes the Forschner brand knives and the Swiss Army brand knife.

This has a 3-1/4" serrated blade and a 4" partial tang triple riveted beautiful rosewood handle. It's easy to use, sharp, holds an edge well, and cuts cleanly without making "sawdust" of my food like some other serrated parers or steak knives so. The serrations are great because they're easily sharpened. The handle is wood, which can collect food particles and bacteria (wood handles aren't allowed in commercial kitchens for that reason), and needs to be oiled every once in a while (it's not dishwasher safe!) to keep it protected.

This is a great knife. It's never failed me and performs as good as other knives I own that cost a lot more money. If you want something that will last forever (but isn't as pretty), the poly handled Forschner knives are your best bet.

This is a quality paring knife that is easy on the eyes. I would buy another one if I needed more paring knives, but how many paring knives does one man need?
