This was our first ever purchase of a Tramontina product. Our old knives just would not hold a good edge. Purchased this Tramontina set after reading the reviews on Consumers Report. We have now been using this Tramontina set for a few months and have been delighted. Please note this review is from someone who's experience with knives is based on an old 'cheap' set.**Read my review on the seller. They are not nearly as glowing.
