KitchenAid 6-Inch Ceramic Chef Knife with Silicone Nonslip Handle

I bought this knife for my wife for Christmas (2011). She has loved the knife, but she has commented that it no longer cuts through tomato skins as easily as it did before. It only stayed sharp for 7 months. I don't believe that they can be sharpened. I will not be buying another Kitchen Aid Product if they misrepresent their products. I was generous with the two stars because it was a good knife while it was sharp.

I bought this knife about 20 days ago the blade chipped all over and it is not sharp any more...i bought it for 30 dollars at target and i feel that i paid way too much for a knife that only worked for the first week. i don't recommend this knife to anyone.

This knife is simply not sharp. My well-used, decade-old knives that have never been re-ground are far sharper with just a few passes over a steel.

Disappointed.
