for tenderizing meat, this isnt the best thing to use. mostly because after pounding a piece of actual meat for a while the unusual way this pounder is held isnt the most comfortable for the hand. but the actual work of the tenderizing... it DOES work.

i got this as a gag prize for a good friend, because where this person lives, brass knuckles arent legal. but they really wanted one. so this did the trick. whether or not the friend will go out and pound someone with it.... i'll update my review if they do, and they tell me about the experience!

It was exactly what was advertised, it fit my hands perfect. If you have large hands it will not fit like a ring on your finger, all the way on. If you have large fingers you could still slip the tips of your fingers in and use it as they show in the picture. Well built, durable solid aluminum meat tenderizer and it would be a cool gift.
