My 1st Swibo lasted over 30 years, broke it while using it for a pry bar to split frozen pork butts apart, I cried. This new one is not as heavy/thick as the original but if used for the intended purpose and not a pry bar it should be fine. However after touching it up with my Ceramic stone I discovered it may be too sharp for most people to use after a beer or 2 (4). This discovery was made while steaking out a full Rib Loin into Rib Eye steaks. It easily, without any resistence or pain, cleanly removed about .060" off the tip of my driving finger....it should heal in another week or two and I should be able to get back out into traffic with my signal finger intact.Should have a warning label: If any digit is accidently severed, pack loose part(s) in ice and visit your local Emergency Room for reconnection ASAP.
