Period.I bought these Stone River ceramic knives hoping they would be useful instead of the Kyocera ceramic knives I usually use. They cost about half as much. But they don't cut it--literally. They are not nearly as sharp and they dull much more quickly. And for my hand, they are too small. In chopping down, I have to hold my hand with the cutting board at the edge of the counter or my hand hits the board or edge. The paring knife is a bit better because its small size is what you expect with that kind of knife.
