I just recently had a fried tortilla bowl at a restaurant and was in love. I wanted to make my own at home and make them healthier. I brush my tortilla's with olive oil, bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes and they are AWESOME! Husband, child and I all love them. We are now making "tortilla bowls" a couple times a week. We aren't big on salads, so we fill them with beans, mushrooms, corn, avocado, jalapeno's, chili beans, shredded cheese and top it with some sour cream! Makes a fairly healthy, inexpensive, quick and easy meal. BUY THE FORMS! They are worth it!

These are exactly as advertised, and you can avoid fried tortilla bowls. When storing the bowl makers, make sure you put something between them. Otherwise, suction makes them really hard to separate.

While the instructions indicate an 8 minute baking time, I would strongly suggest that you reduce that time to 5 minutes and then watch the level of browning of the edges. Eight minutes is too much time and causes overdone edges.
