These are advertised as being "full bolster" meaning that the steel blade goes all the way thru the handle they are not full bolster; The steel ends at about 1-1/2" into the grip which is where it will eventually break. Mine lasted about 6 months. Looks good, nice blade, holds an edge well and the handle breaks off JUNK.
Nice feeling very comfortable size. Recommend it for kitchen addicts.I bought one of these last week, and LOVE it. Cuts through meat like its butter, and veggies cut easier than ever. Wish I had known about it a long time ago! Definitely worth the money!
