We first saw this flatware in one of our favorite restaurants and loved the way they looked and loved the weight of them. For us, they are really comfortable to eat with. They are unique, but they are functional. When it was time for me and my new husband to register for our wedding, we immediately knew we wanted some Nambe Paddle flatware. We have used the flatware for only about two weeks, so we have no idea how they will hold up, but so far so good. We have washed them in the dishwasher with no problems.
It's clear (albeit somewhat sad) that a lot of thought went into how these look. They're a bit awkward to actually eat with, and they got damaged in the dishwasher. Buy some less pretentious forks at the store and save your money and energy for something real.
