MIU France 4-Piece Paring Knife Set with Kitchen Shears

I've seen this set for all different prices at several places and I was lucky enough to get it for under 10 bucks so I have no complaints.. The knives all needed to be touched up and the took an edge easily and I use the shears daily so I'm pleased with this set..

It was a good buy for the money and the product met my expectations. It would have been disappointing if it had cost $100, but for $10 it was a good deal.

When I went to cooking school, I had a class that was all about carving veggies and fruits into pieces of art. We made Apple Birds, radish roses, and more elaborate things like edible boquets with fruits or vegetables. When I saw this paring knife set, I had to get it. I am chef working in an institution, which doesn't allow for much "frivolity" except for ourselves in the kitchen. I had already purchased a book for a co-worker on how to make great edible decorations, now, I will have him bring the book to work and we can play.
