KitchenAid Cooks Stamped 3-1/2-Inch Parer Knife

Out of the packaging, the knife is dull and improperly finished. With one wash in the dishwasher, the finish has deteriorated even more.

This knife is absolutely "fine," nothing to write home about but perfectly functional. I wish it were a tiny bit smaller. It's just slightly too big to comfortably cut the way I would normally use a paring knife (cutting toward myself while holding the knife and stopping when the knife reaches my thumb).

Nothing special, nothing offensive. Just a knife!
