I don't believe there is a better knife made. I am still using a set I was given in the early 70's, so I bought this one as a gift. Be careful, they are sharp!!

I just can't believe how sharp these knives are. Both knives have great balance, they are both light, and SHARP! I use mine for every day use in the kitchen (meats, vegetables, fruits..) I combined these knives with the TH-60 santoku knife and BNS-60 boning knife from MAC and I'm extremely happy with the performance.

i am not a gourmet cook by any means but i appreciate good tools...these knives are the best i have ever used...my wife uses global knives which are equally sharp but i do not like the handles...as a large guy with big hands, the handles on the MAC knives fit my hands perfectly...with 3 MAC knives in my arsenal, hope i never need another knife.
