We wanted a protective cover on our countertop that would also serve as a cutting board for preparing salads & cutting up other foods. This item serves the purpose quite well, and it should last for many years. Both boards have a bow in the center, and don't lay flat on the counter, but we are hoping this will remedy itself in time. This works wonderfully. We just leave it on the counter and I am always ready to cut up veggies without having to go and get out a cutting board. In fact I just ordered a second one so that my husband does not have an excuse to not help with the cooking prep work. :-)

I have a new enough Corian countertop, to warrant as much care as I can give it. I have tried other items, intended to provide protection. But those items were unattractive, and shifted out of position too much; making them more annoying than pleasing. I am happy about every aspect of this item (stays put, appearance, and large size for my oversized counter). I would love it if the manufacturer would add an even larger size to their selection. Love it!!

This product is great for keeping counter tops sfe from hot pots, and pans, cutting...etc. i would grecommend this product
