Kuhn Rikon Original Small Santoku Knife Colori 5-Inch Blade

I would have given this knife five stars if it wasn't made in china. However with that being said, this is a very sharp piece of cutlery in a smaller size Santoku package which comes in handy for smaller cutting jobs. Slicing whole green chile pods, tomatoes, limes, etc. is a breeze. Blade protecting sheath is a big plus.

These are great knives! I would've given a perfect score except I thought the handles were of a much cheaper quality of plastic than ones I have purchased in the past....but so far has shown to be just as effective.

If you're looking for an affordable knife with an amazingly sharp blade and comfortable grip, this is it ! I can slice summer sausage thinner than 1/8 of an inch thick, and slicing fruit thin for tarts or just for a different mouth feel when raw is easy ! The blade guard is also greatand having different colors makes them stick out in the drawer. I'm gradually changing all of my knives to Kuhn Rikon. I can't afford Wustoff or some of the other mega-buck knives, but with these I don't feel I need them :)

Flexible and stays sharp. My wife loves to use these. I've hardly even gotten a chance to use this knife.
