Galloware Guaranteed Sharp 4 Piece Ceramic Knife Set

This is the sharpest knife I have ever used. It is light yet it's weight is enough to cut a tomato. Just pull on the handle and it slices. With the blade sticking below the handle you can use the entire blade. Nice packaging and stand should last years.

Bought my set in January 2013 from Zulily (half the price). These knives were awesome in the beginning. I didn't use them often because I didn't need them, but when I did they were great. I was happy until the blade on the Santoku knife became detached from the handle while I was cutting an onion. It was like the glue failed. I don't soak these in water and I use a wooden cutting board. That was the knife I used the most, and now it's worthless. My Paring knife tip did break off too, but I will take the blame for that one. I dropped it. However I think it broke way to easy from a drop to the floor. I think these knives should have held up better than that. All that's left is my Chef knife. We will see.

UPDATE. My the blade on my Chef knife broke off right from the handle when I was cutting into a cabbage. Just great.

This knife set is the best one we have ever owned! We've had ceramic knives before & they were ok, but nothing like the quality & cutting ability of these! Truly a newer, more updated type of ceramic knife! They cut beautifully, with very little effort. So glad I got these! Realistically, they aren't designed for heavy abuse, such as cutting bones or frozen meat, but they are perfect for the everyday chores!
