I bought this set 10 years ago after watching an in-store demonstration and use it every day. Just bought a second set in case the old one wears out, not that it's showing signs of it. I just couldn't get by without these knives, especially the long ones. They aren't pretty, but they work and in 10 years I've never sharpened one. I started out with 3, now down to 2, it didn't break, I think someone lifted the 3rd when they saw how well they worked.They actually do cut through frozen meat, bread, tomatoes, great for carving turkeys, roasts, whatever.

I sat through the presentation and got the free paring knife. I tried to slice a tomato and to cut celery with it. It wouldn't cut either, even after trying to sharpen it.
