I bought some of these knives years ago at a local hardware and loved them. Was glad to find them on Amazon so I could get some more. They are sharp and strong enough to easily cut steak. Have a strong, sharp point. Very versatile knives. I prefer to use these knives to slice tomatoes, cut up fruit and even to peel potatoes. I don't use my potato peeler or paring knives any more. Have had the original knives for over 10 years. Have never sharpened them.
